Soul Seed Gathering is a cross-disciplinary initiative that brings deep time history, Indigenous wisdom and nature intelligence to address contemporary world challenges, advocating for deeper forms of change.
Our team is composed of a small but mighty group of women around the world.
We have :
12 years of researching and mapping cross-cultural and across time story.
10 years of interviews, film recordings and learnings alongside Indigenous female elders, leaders and wisdom keepers from different earth-based cultures.
3 Cultural Exchange Gatherings so far working with female elders from the K’iche’ and Tzʼutujil of Guatemala, the Kogi and Wayuu of Colombia, the Q’ero Nation and Shipibo of Peru, the Hopi, Haudanashaunee, Cayuga & Mohawk of Turtle Island (otherwise known as USA) and the Bri Bri and Cabécar of Costa Rica.

2014
Research in women’s pre-history begins, alongside learning with First Nations women in BC, Canada and traveling to the International Indigenous Gathering in Lillooet.

2015
A research mapping project begins, mapping women’s history with the intersection with present-day indigenous cultures, to develop an across-time and across-cultures map of understanding.

2016
Soul Seed Gathering is born in June. The first research trip takes place in November to Guatemala, meeting with master weavers in Lago Atitlán, and community leader Micaela and Maria a Tz’utujil fire ceremonialist who becomes Soul Seed’s first interview and guide.

2017
First cultural exchange gathering takes place in Lago Atitlán, Guatemala. 49 women gather to learm with the K’iche’ and Tz’utujil communities.

2018
Learning with the Kogi and Wayuu in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. Colombia with 33 women gathered. Guidance from Jaba Teresa, a Kogi elder and seer, initiates a deeper process for building our librar.y.

2019
The first iteration of our Ancient Future online library is built with the aim of creating the most comprehensive library of deep feminine and earth-based cultural knowledge. Pop-up events and screenings of our documentary interviews are shared in Costa Rica and London.

2021
A year-long research & storytelling program is offered. The team connects with Stibrawpa Bri Bri community in Costa Rica in April. A cross-cultural gathering takes place with Bri Bri, Cabecar, Hopi, Shipibo & Haudenosaunee elders in October.

2022
First film in production. Recording the story of Bernarda and the Stibrawpa community reclaiming their indigenous identity, spirituality, health, wealth and community led by women. We offer two group journeys to Stibrawpa.

2023
The Living Research Program is born, and Soul Bloom Magazine launched. A new evolution of Soul Seed Gathering emerges as a Living Research and Future Design Institute.

2024
We facilitate two more group journeys to Stibrawpa in Costa Rica and develop further the Living Research Program, alongside the next iteration of Soul Seed House - Ancient Future Library.

A shamanic and earth-based cultural researcher, Indigenous advocate, educational writer and speaker, and healing guide.
Hannah is honored to have worked with elders from the Lillooet First Nations in Canada, K’iche’ and Tz’utujil Maya elders in Guatemala, Kogi and Wayuu women in Colombia, Shipibo lineage in Peru, Bri Bri and Cabecar peoples in Costa Rica.
Her research focus is with the Celtic-Anglo-European shamanic lineages, and making connections across cultures to ancestral women’s role in ceremony, ritual, weaving, dreamwork, medicine, and community leadership.
She received a Bachelor of Science at the London School of Economics in 2012 and has previous experience in international documentary research and film production.
Her work also offers solutions for earth-centered change from business actions, re-imagining new financial systems, activism, healing and community building.
Hannah became initiated on the shamanic path in 2013, which has informed her research and documentary work at Soul Seed Gathering and led to the forming of the Shamanic Motherline School. Learn more here
